1. Introduction
Welcome to SouthCoast Shipping. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline your rights and responsibilities when shipping with us.
2. Service Agreement
SouthCoast Shipping provides logistics and freight services for our customers. We facilitate the transportation and storage of goods in compliance with local regulations.
3. Payment & Fees
All shipping fees must be paid in full before the goods are released to the recipient.
Additional charges may apply for customs clearance, taxes, or any other fees imposed by regulatory authorities.
SouthCoast Shipping reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time with prior notice.
4. Storage & Auction Policy
Customers are required to collect their packages within three (3) weeks of arrival at our facility.
If a package is not collected within the given period, it will begin to accrue storage fees.
If a package remains uncollected for two (2) months, SouthCoast Shipping reserves the right to auction or dispose of the item to recover storage costs.
Customers will receive reminders before storage fees apply and before any auction proceedings take place.
Any disputes regarding auctioned items must be resolved through arbitration.
5. Liability & Insurance
SouthCoast Shipping is not responsible for damages or losses caused by external factors such as natural disasters, customs inspections, or third-party handling.
Customers may choose to purchase additional insurance for high-value shipments.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed for shipping:
Hazardous materials, firearms, explosives, illegal substances
Perishable goods without proper handling arrangements
Any other items prohibited by law
7. Claims & Disputes
Any lost or damaged goods claims must be submitted within 7 days of collection.
SouthCoast Shipping will investigate all claims but is not liable for delays caused by customs or shipping partners.
Any legal disputes arising from our services will be settled through arbitration.
8. Amendments
SouthCoast Shipping reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes.
